Austin Elder Law Attorney for Alzheimer’s Care & Planning

Austin Elder Law Attorney – Austin Residential & Hospice Care For Your Loved One living in Austin, Texas  - Call Brian Willie at Willie Elder Law  (512) 478-0834, or email bwillie@WillieElderLaw.com.

There may come a point when you are unable to continue providing care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s.  Though it’s important that an Alzheimer’s patient remain in his or her own home environment for as long as possible, you may not be able to properly care for them due to aggressive behavior, a need for constant medical attention or an obligation to your children.  This is particularly true if your loved one is experiencing late-stage Alzheimer’s, which often requires the 24-hour assistance that only nursing homes and hospice care can provide.

Before you move your loved one to a residence or hospice, make sure you research the options in Austin, Texas. It’s important that they stay close to home to allow visitors and you want to be sure the environment in the residence or hospice is appropriate.  Ask about daily care and how many other residents there are in the facility.
